Georgia Bradley Spent Thousands To Bring A Stray Dog From Greece To UK!
It’s all started when the holiday maker Georgia Bradley, 25 went with her boyfriend to Greece spending their holiday together. She were on the Crete beach when two Greek men approached her and asked her to go for a drink, that was when her boyfriend was in a nearby cafe.
When Georgia rejected their advances, the two men became aggressive and one of them grabbed her arm. Seemed like someone was watching all the scene, a small black dog came on the right time, he ran over and started barking at them.
Miss Georgia said “The dog – which she has named Pepper – shot out of nowhere, jumped up at me and began barking and licking my hand, and that made the men think twice. She saved me. She must have noticed something was wrong. When I went back to the apartment she followed me and finally let us stroke her.”
When Georgia got home she couldn’t stop thinking about her furry rescuer, So she took a flight back two weeks later to Crete again, but this time, she decided to take this loyal canine with her. She kept searching for her small rescuer for 5 weeks in tow further trips covering 6,000 miles until she found him on the same beach. Thankfully she found her little loyal best friend.
“It was a real risk because we may never have found her again,’ Georgia added. ‘But when we saw Pepper on the beach, it was the best feeling ever.”
Pepper was microchipped, dewormed, given a rabies jab and got a pet passport. But she had to spend 21 days in quarantine before she was allowed to travel. Finally, Georgia went to Crete for a third time to collect Pepper – and the kennel owner gave her the shock news Pepper was pregnant.
Georgia said: “It has been a crazy journey. I am over the moon. Pepper has settled in brilliantly.”
A week after arriving back at Miss Bradley’s home in Calstock, Cornwall, Pepper gave birth to six puppies.
Aww!! Pepper and her 6 puppies are so lucky to find this beloved lady.
