Social media campaign “Bring Alice Home” took off so fast, the 15-week-old Shih Tzu pug was returned just four days after she was stolen.
A puppy stolen at a car boot sale has been reunited with its owners after a Facebook appeal.
The 15-week-old Shih Tzu Pug was seized by a gang of 10 men who surrounded her and unclipped her from her lead.
Little Alice had been tied up by her owners while they looked for bargains at a car boot stall before the thieves swooped.
Photographer Tash Jones, 30, set up a Facebook page in a bid to find her family’s beloved pooch, stolen at the event in Chirk, near Wrexham, North Wales.
The social media campaign “Bring Alice Home” picked up momentum with the page being shared by supporters across the UK.
After receiving 3,900 likes and hundreds of shares on the social media site, tiny Alice was returned to her rightful owners – four days after going missing.
A delighted Tash said: “I cannot thank every person who has helped, shared, liked, messaged, commented etc enough and for their tireless efforts in helping us reunite with our baby.”
